BAHRAIN SOCIETY OF ENGINEERS ANNOUNCES BIPEX 2015 LAUNCH

BAHRAIN SOCIETY OF ENGINEERS ANNOUNCES BIPEX 2015 LAUNCH

The Bahrain International Property Exhibition is Back

BIPEX-Press-Conference-2

JUNE 2015 – Manama, Bahrain: A key press conference on June 8th 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel  Bahrain Bay saw the launch of Bahrain International Property Exhibition, BIPEX 2015 with a renewed emphasis.

BIPEX is the Kingdom’s pioneering property show that has served the community for several years, and it is back with greater focus and vigor. BIPEX 2015 is scheduled for November 5th – 7th at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center under the patronage of H.E Shaikh Khalid Bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister. One of the results of the resurgent real estate sectors and growing economies of Bahrain and the GCC has been to revisit the BIPEX expo calendar. It is noteworthy that the government of Bahrain is undertaking several plans including road network developments, public transportation improvements, construction of three major power plants and a plethora of housing projects to ultimately elevate the standard of the country. Bahrain’s consistent growth and development in recent years is evidenced by the revival of interest in its real estate market. These events are not coincidental but are closely correlated and interlinked.

Over the past decade, BIPEX has grown rapidly and consolidated its reputation as a key international property exhibition. This landmark event prides itself on attracting both emerging and established real estate companies as exhibitors and participants. Furthermore, it sets the perfect stage for investors, developers and buyers to discuss various aspects facing the industry, including timely solutions and suggestions in that regard. BIPEX provides a unique opportunity for developers to inform potential buyers on topics about real estate developments, property features, financial terms and legal issues on a one-on-one basis.

The Bahrain Society of Engineers or BSE, is the premier body representing engineering professionals in the Kingdom. A dedicated committee is tasked with regularly organizing the BIPEX, and Mr. Mohammed Khalil Alsayed is the Chairman of this Organizing Committee for BIPEX. “Bahrain is consolidating its position as a hub for home-buyers and leisure travelers,” said Alsayed. “The government’s infrastructure spending in addition to the development of the tourism sector and the recent economic growth of 4.5% YOY reinforce this view. I am deeply optimistic about BIPEX 2015 as I believe it is a timely event that showcases a key component of Bahrain’s economy that benefits the players as well as investors and the general public,” added Mr. Alsayed.

“BIPEX, run by engineering professionals on a voluntary basis, is a crucial event in the realty sector’s annual calendar. I see it as a catalyst for inward investment flows into Bahrain, amongst providing many other related benefits to the economy of Bahrain. I wholeheartedly invite all companies, large and small, to participate in this landmark event and join us in the march to Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.” he concluded.

About BSE

BSE was established in 1972 as a professional voluntary non-profit organization. It seeks to advance the engineering profession, while striving for continuous skill enhancements through training and conducting technical and professional programs.

The USD1.6 billion Dilmunia at Bahrain development is a mixed-use project built on a man-made island off the coast of Muharraq. With a unique health and wellness anchor, Dilmunia will include residences, hotels, and leisure and shopping districts anchored around a health and wellness cluster.

“Bahrain’s property market is now on a growth track, as reflected by the evident demand for properties in established master-planned neighborhoods such as Dilmunia,” said  Al Ghanim “What attracted us most to Dilmunia is its planned and quality driven social infrastructure, which creates long term value to developers and residents alike”

“Our apartments, which will have sea and canal waterfall views, are going to be specifically designed to capitalize on these idyllic surroundings, while our villas will offer some of the best waterfront living anywhere in Bahrain” said Al Ghanim. “we’re expecting to commence full designs within weeks and expect construction to commence within 2016”
